Well,it is all about the hubbub of the killings of innocent Palestinians in Gaza.At first, when the Zionists started attacking Gaza, i was not bothered that much.But, when the number of those killed escalated to more than 400, i started to look into this issue from a rather disquieting angle.I began to mull over as to the reason of the sudden,intense, hard-hitting acts of terrorism by the Zionist.
A few possible reasons popped up in my brain.And those reasons are subject to meticulous analysing by the frontal lobe of my brain.Hoping that this part of my brain works well, at least up till now, i would rather say that the output of the analysis would sound more or less like this- 'Hell.. the Zionists are seriously playing with fire by messing with the Muslims and are very keen on starting the 3rd world war'
Great!!! The Zionists really wanna have some taste of the Muslims' retaliation.But how do the Muslims retaliate? Do we have the might? Are we able to fight the Israel's closest proxy?
Seems impossibe ehh? Well...it just seems impossible.But remember, David was the one who defeated the Philistine giant, Goliath.He was just a man though.
It is all about our inner strenghts.Our willpower, our collective voices, the unity that we are supposed to build, are the ingredients that will indubitably triumph good over evil.All those black sheeps in every nook and cranny of the Muslim society should be exterminated of their powers to control.Victory will then surely ensue.~~~~~~~~~Amen~~~~~~~~~~

Inikah Cara Hidup Sebagai Seorang Pelajar?

Assalamualaikum dan salam sejahtera kepada semua, mungkin ini adalah kali pertama saya menulis entri di dalam blog saya ini di dalam bahasa Melayu.Walau apa sekalipun, saya berharap mesej yang disampaikan dapat kita sama-sama renungkan.Saya juga hamba biasa.Saya juga manusia.Saya juga tidak berhenti melakukan kesilapan.Tapi kita boleh mengubah diri kita, InsyaAllah.

Sepanjang hidup saya sebagai seorang pelajar, bermacam-macam jenis perangai ragam manusia yang saya lihat.

Antara situasi-situasinya seperti berikut:

Situasi 1

Sedang seorang hamba Allah ini(X) belajar di satu tempat umum, dia dirapati oleh seorang lagi hamba Allah(Y)
X=sedang belajar
Y= menghampiri X dan berkata "waaa...rajin gile ko ni...lama btol ko lepak kat sini..gile ahh"

Situasi 2

Sedang hangatnya perbincangan mengenai salah satu topik, si X pun menerangkan secara terperinci apa yang diketahuinya kepada yang hadir,tiba-tiba si Y pon berkata "perghh..hebat siot ko..sume ko tau...mantap ahhh"

Situasi 3

Sedang X mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi peperiksaan dengan membuat rujukan semampu yang boleh, dia dihampiri oleh Y seraya berkata "gile..awal gile ko study..rileks aahhh...ko study mcm esok nak exam je"

Situasi 4

X sedang menyiapkan kerja yang sepatunya dia lakukan seperti menyiapkan tutorial dan sebagainya.Sedang X membuat kerjanya, dia tidak berapa faham dengan salah satu soalan,masalah etc, kemudian bertanya dengan Y yang kebetulan berada dekat di situ.
X bertanya "weyh..ko tau tak camner nak jawab soalan ni,aku tak faham sangat pon?"
Y pula dengan nada sinis mejawab "alaa...aku tak buat pon tutorial tuh..aku bukan cemerlang macam ko"

Situasi 5

X ditanya oleh seseorang dalam diskusi kumpulan, dan X mejawab setakat dia tahu.Selesainya diskusi kumpulan itu, Y menyapa X sambil berkata "wow...hebat btol ko dpt jawab semua soalan tuh yang dia tanya..mcm mana ko bole tau ahh??"

Situasi 6

X sedang membuat notanya.Y secara tiba-tiba menyapa sambil menepuk bahu X dari belakang sambil berkata "rajin gile ko bwat notes..."

Situasi 7

X sedang membaca buku tambahan sebagai pelengkap kepada nota-nota yang diberikan.X bertanya kepada Y apakah buku yang dibaca yang dirasakan mungkin lebih baik dari apa yang X sedang baca.Y pula mejawab " ntah aku tatau laaa...aku tak baca sngt la buku2 ni ..org2 mantap je baca buku ni...aku bukan rajin macam ko"

Situasi 8

X sedang bercuti dan mengisi masanya dengan membaca dan melakukan perkara-perkara berfaedah yang dirasakan dapat membantu dirinya pada masa hadapan.Secara kebetulan, Y pula berada di situ dan meberikan komennya yang tidak diundang oleh sesiapa.Berkata Y "perghhh...ko ni kan..time cuti pon takkan tannak rileks kot...rileks arr...pelik siot ko...hahaha"

Situasi 9

Keputusan peperiksaan baru saja keluar.Si X pun melihat keputusannya dan berasa bersyukur kerana mendapat keputusan yang diinginkan.Si X pun bertanya kepada Y keputusannya, Y pun mejawab diikuti oleh sekali lagi komen yang tidak diundang dari mulut Y "fuyyyoooo...mantap gile...camner ko bole dpt camtu ahh...ko mkn apa dpt camtu?"

Persoalannya..

- tiada apa yang boleh dikecapi tanpa usaha,tiada apa yang boleh diketahui tanpa pembelajaran
-tiada manusia yang dilahirkan dengan ilmu selengkapnya,ianya harus dipelajari
-tiada manusia dilahirkan hebat, kehebatan harus dicari dan dibentuk, apakah Tuhan itu adil untuk mencipta hanya beberapa yang terpilih untuk mejadi hebat? Kehebatan masing2 berbeza dalam berbagai segi.
-bukan semua manusia dapat mencapai sesuatu dengan takat usaha yang sama.ada yang memerlukan usaha lebih untuk mencapai tahap yang diinginkan, ada yang perlu berusaha sedikit sahaja untuk mencapainya.usaha dan matlamat masing2 berbeza.
-bukan apa yang kita tahu semuanya orang lain akan tahu dan bukan semua yang diketahui orang lain kita tahu.disinilah pentingnya mempelajari apa yg diketahui diantara satu sama lain.

Barack Obama..yes..the new president of the USA..the 44th president of the much popularized country practising democracy(this is what the americans say).Some of us are still oblivious of the fact that there has been a change in the seat of the US president..some of us dont even know what is happening in the US...what is the whole hullabaloo in US is all about...shame on people like this...
Some even spell the name of Obama incorrectly...I've encountered some like 'Barrack Obama'..(barracks are found at military sites)..., Barack Omama( this has nothing to do with our mom..dont drag her into this political quagmire)..and even Berak Obama..(or in english..'to shit' Obama).
Poor Obama..he has been called all these sorts of names..by morons not knowing what has transpired..even of momentous events!
I see the new wave of thinking pervading the minds of the americans...the kind of thinking that reflects the acceptance of views that might contradict the orthodox notions..of racism and bigotry.
Perhaps the world is going to change gradually...from a state where each country is being stifled by one superpower claiming to police the world in the name of 'security'...or rather their own security..at the expense of inciting anger and hatred among those of other countries.
Will there be better ties between the US and countries that have been in deep rancour with them..? i hope so..and i reckon things will improve...
Obama will certainly steer the ship to the way that will favour most of the denizens of this earth..(this will be manifested in the policies implemented by US later)...but..expect a certain quarter of the people to protest..that is normal..
Upon seeing the victory clinched by Obama ...i now feel like US isnt that bad at all..it's the people in the upper echelons of the leadership that made the US to be perceived so badly..hated...loathed....!!
Before this..i would have thought twice before going to US ...but now...seems like visiting US is so tempting...(u idiot..u think i have that much of money to fly to US from Dublin...,well..i did have quite a lot of money..before this..unfortunately i squandered them on stupid things. .)
By the way..a return ticket to New York just costs around 300 euros...this was what i saw a month ago..at Aer Lingus website.. i guees it must have been on offer then..or is it cheaper now??..hurm..who knows..haha
Allright..enuff of wasting my precious super duper valuable time...time to get my ass up and prepare for my respi diseases tutorial tomorrow...sigh!!

What does our new Finance Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak got to say about this -- Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has suggested the reintroduction of the ringgit peg to lessen the impact of the global economic crisis on the currency.

In his support remarks, Muhyiddin Yassin said the government should study the suggestion to cushion off the impact of the weakening US dollar against other major currencies.Yes folks..the weakening of the US dollars...yeah!!

Tun and Muhyiddin are right. The fluctuations in the ringgit value had affected the country's economy and the government should not continue with the managed float of the ringgit(bear in mind that the current system is the floating system). The value must be fixed as it would strengthen the economy and create structural changes without having to depend on the model from western experts.

“If the US economy declines, the country, which is among its key trading partners, will also be badly affected,” Dr M said.

The ringgit's RM3.80 peg against the US dollar imposed in Sept 1, 1998 was scrapped in July 21, 2005 and was operated by a managed float against a basket of currencies (Quoted from An Analysis of the Malaysian Pegging System). Although the pegging of the ringgit by the government in 1997 is perceived to be different from the current uncertain global economic scenario, it was possible that several mechanisms in the previous pegging of the ringgit could be used again.

Muhyiddin said the uncertain global economy today is due to the sub-prime problems prevailing in the United States which resulted in several major banks in the country to go bankrupt and this scenario is different from the situation in 1997.

The government, he said needed to keep tabs on the current world economic developments and take necessary initiatives to tackle the problem.

Now, Najib... its time to be a good 'money-man'!...but with all these shouts of 'release RPK..release Teresa and release whoever..the list continues'...will he be able to make it?

Intriguing,mind-boggling?..call it whatever you like but those are the stream of thoughts and feelings engulfing me every now and then.
Why? You may ask...And the answer to this lies to the very situation of the Muslims nowadays.When you see in the media, the muslims being portrayed as hardcore terrorists and suicide bombers,sequestered in some mountainous,cavernous region like Tora Bora, one cant help but cringe in fear whenever he/she encounters a bearded man with a turban.*a turban is a headgear worn by the middle-easterners normally*
So, do we really need to be afraid of those people? No...really...it is a big 'NO'.All those irrelevant fears that the non-muslims have been imbued with by the western-controlled media, are preposterous.The western media, especially the US media being controlled by the Jews are so good in the art of fabulism.Believe me, they are able to spin any stories out of the context just to please certain parties.The economy of the US being controlled by the Jews, and it is not easy for most people out there to really figure out those at the backstage,those behind all the masterplan.
Money paper,for those who dont know yet, is invented by the Jews.Money paper, by its very nature has no value. It is we, people who put the value on it.
They are nothing,just papers!!.The real money,should be in silver or gold form.So, who are setting the value for the paper money and where is the reference point for the value of such and such a currency?
You see, when the US economy falls, the whole world would feel the impact.Certain countries might go into periods of abysmal recessions.
Now, anyone with a sound mind would ask ,why should we be affected by the US economy?.
The answer is because the reference point is where the Jews have discreet control in,which is the US economy and everything related to its finances.
I still remember, as far as i could recall, when i was at the age of 12 to 15, my dad was watching his favourite channel,the Bloomberg , a figure appeared from the idiot-box, looking dishevelled,and tattily dressed,around the age 70 plus.He was commenting on the recent updated economic status of the States and making some predictions and what investors should do.I was amazed ..how could this old looking, frayed man be so good even in predicting the future of the US economy, as if he had every nitty-gritty facts about the economy.I asked my dad'who is this old man,so good that almost any steps taken in Wall Street would have to be consented by this old guy?'And he told me about this man, and his name is Alan Greenspan. That was the first time i heard about Alan Greenspan, a Jew, and since then, i kept watching some of his comments live on Bloomberg and was amazed by his acuity in foretelling the economic situation.Even the Dow Jones would have to succumb to the impact of US economic downturn if there is to be a major economic downturn.
Back to our present situation,whereby Muslims have insignificant control over the world economy,let alone to govern their own countries,they are labelled as being uncouth and uncivilised.I have to agree with this.And anyone out there who doesnt agree are welcomed to be in a fruitful discussion with me,by any means.
I feel ashamed sometimes,when i see the muslims are in substandard situation.They fall behind in many aspects,be it in education,businesses or administration of a country.
What went wrong? oh no..nothing went wrong...things rarely go wrong...'The Muslims wronged themselves'
When the Muslims are fighting over trivial issues rather than concentrating on core matters,they are losing out ,becoming more and more ignorant.
In the field of education,can anyone tell me how many Muslims are there in the first three top or at least 5 top academic figures in any fields of institution around the world(muslim
predominant countries are excepted)i am talking in a country where there are considerable no of Muslims or the majority are Muslims.
Avicenna(Ibn Sina),Avempace(Ibn Bajjah),Geber(Jabir Ibn hayyan) and many more,the list goes..bla2...are.... my friends..figures of the past....of the past!!!.They are history.There is no point for us to brag about these figures having discovered many things,we have not even reached 1% of their level of diligence in knowledge seeking.
How destitute we are...how bad it is...so bad..
I am proud of my religion, but maybe not proud of the people practising it and i am not proud of myself either!!

well,it's been quite sometime since i last posted a blog and the last one was about politics and races.now, it seems that i am getting busier..or put it this
way..i am pretending to get busier..lolz..Anyway,it was a tiring journey back from Msia, almost 2 weeks ago, and i caught fever once i arrived here..darn!!
Thankfully, my flight experience in sing airlines wasn't as bad as when i was on my way back to Malaysia.I got my proper Moslem meal,as requested, unlike the dramatic scenario of me shouting angrily at the stewardess for serving me pork on my flight back to Msia !!! Exasperated all the way back home till i set my feet in KLIA, upon seeing the clement faces of my parents and siblings, the anger dissipated to nowhere.In the car, on the way back home, i recounted my in-flight experience to my parents.They were fumed,,yes,they were.. and suggested that i write a letter of complaint to the Sing Air.My dad even asked me to write letters to the media, highlighting such a gross mistake made by a huge,renowned Airliner.That'll sure put them into shame.
Man..!! What's the point of having the first fleet of Airbus A380 if the crews are not properly trained and acting sloppily towards the passengers.
urghh...now i have to write a letter...i thought...ok...i'll just write one scathing and plain letter addressed to the CEO of Sing Airlines...and i did...yes i did....
It took them almost two weeks to reply back to me.In the reply, they expressed their deep regret over the issue and promised such an incident will never recur...ok..that's fine...but i need sth.some sort of reimbursement...now for this part, they were kind enough to give me voucher worth $100 for items bought in-flight only...urghh...and it appeared that i had to fork out some extra money to buy some kind of stupid battery powered massager worth more than $100 only to regret later and become the laughing object of my housemates.
And starting anew for the new semester wasn't a breeze at all!!...after almost 3 months of brain inactivity and sluggishness..now it's the time to get the brain run on fuel(maybe i should switch to NGV later on as the fuel price is still high and
a 'nasi lemak' almost costs RM2 now..darn!!)
A few new faces of lecturers are to be expected this semester, with Dr Sharaf Osama having to deliver his lectures in a tongue-twisting arabic english slang, as if
he had just come out of the Arabian desert riding a camel.Well,hitherto, his lectures were some kind of well organized and i like them, at least up till now...
And Dr chan again...with his list of bacteria with mouthful names and their classifications.I do wonder sometimes..is he living with humans or bacteria...maybe he has some kind of superhuman power with 6th sense to communicate and chat with Corynebacterium Diphteria on his cellphone..weird..haha...
Dr Jacquiline Quinn..yeah..with her smiling and accommodating face..always takes the fear away from me in Microbio subject, so that i dont have to
wear adult diapers when the exam is around the corner. Who else..?? hurm...OMG...Prof Bannigan again??..owh no...!!
He really reminds me of someone who is not from this planet and has this super-nonsense ability to remember the longest ever medical term ever existed.
And i bet his schizophrenic-like appearance will get the shit out of my colleagues, including me...urghh..
Yes..the amount of studies required for this semester will be threefold.The lecture notes themselves are thick enough to be compiled into a massive 24-volume
encyclopaedia and if you throw them to a dog, it will bleed to death..believe me..!!(i wish i can throw them to my neighbour's dog as it kept barking whenever i pass by the house,hurmm..maybe after the exam)and imagine me sitting on the chair staring at them for hours like zombie...yes...expect me to become a zombie soon..an educated zombie to say theleast..haha........(yawn)...i guess it's time for me to lie supine on the bed...(err..i wonder why am i more prone to use medically related words than just simple words
like...i just wanna go have some sleep...u idiot)....enuff for now...

Of Races and The Country

Equality is not merely an equality..there must be a balance...
My second post would be related to the different races present in Malaysia.I was born as a Malayalee (muslim Malayalees are called Malabaris),a race unique to the west coast of India,known as the Malabar coast in a state called Kerala.
My grandfathers,both from my mom and dad's sides were from there.They came as traders and married local Malabaris whose parents came to Malaya in the same way.
Being a minority in Malaysia, i have been observant of the characters of the many races in Malaysia,mainly the Chinese,Indians and the Malays.
It is really a wonder how three major races could live in one country,without major fights (though some of them occured in the past and will occur if no preventive measures are taken )
I have been contemplating and reading quite extensively since i was a kid and noted some of the changes that these races have been through.I would say the British were very sly in bringing the other races to the
land, unequivocally owned by the Malays as the original settlers of the archipelagos.But who are the Malays really? Are they a mix of chinese and indians since the malay archipelagos became the melting-pot for the chinese
and indian traders alike,and not forgetting the arabs who came later during the halcyon days of Islamic Civilisation, to spread Islam.
I've read of the chinese civilisation, of the Indus civilisation,the greeks, the egyptians,the Mayans, the Incas and many more, but i have never encountered any written accounts of civilisation pertaining to the Malays.Could it be a combination of all the civilisations that created a race called the Malay.
Even the origin of the word Malay has been disputed from a number of sources.There are a few that i know of.According to the Indonesian scholars, the Malays are those people who escaped the tyranny of the Srivijaya empire, fled to the now Tanah Melayu.The word 'Malayu' in one of the many dialects spoken in Indonesia means 'to run away'.From another source, the 'Malays'came from the word 'malaise' as the British used to called when the country was under their colony.
The word 'malaise'means to be lethargic,listless and hopeless due to being sick etc.Which source is true and which one has been concocted will remain a mystery.It is up to my fellow Malay colleagues or any Malays out there to find out for themselves.
Maybe the time has come for the Malays to look back and discover what treasures they might have left behind.Undeniably, the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British were very keen on wiping out any evidences of the Malay civilisation, if there were any.
When compared to the days, 30 to 40 years back,the times when Tanah Melayu was still a British colony, there were hardly any Malays in the professional fields.This includes professions such as lawyers.doctors,district officers,gov officers etc.All the businesses were
at the hands of the Chinese while most of the doctors and lawyers were Indians.I wonder why was the reason.Why the Malays were not in these fields?.They remained
in the village growing paddy etc.Realising that the gap is getting wider, politicians were on the run to find the solutions.Tun Razak came with the idea of setting up FELDA.
FELDA helped the Malays in an awful lot of ways.Settlers were given free lands.Subsidies were given and many more incentives were delivered.Mahathir set up the New Economic Policy which
purpotedly planned to favour the Malays.Mara Junior Science Colleges were instituted, serving as a springboard for the Malays to achieve greater success.
This issue of the gap between the races,in terms of socio-economic status is very crucial in maintaining the stability of the nation.And it is also a very sensitive issue to be discussed upon!!
However sensitive an issue might be, sooner or later we all have to face the facts.The suggestion by the Menteri Besar of Selangor, to open up UITM to other races, was something i deem as foolish.
Yes, being an egalitarian politician is not wrong but in the case of Malaysia, this will not do and will only bring disaster of unimaginable scale to the Malays.
Imagine, if this is the kind of mentality one has if he were to become the Prime Minister;what would happen?.It is true for the Chinese and the Indians to say that it is
unfair for the privileges to be in the hands of the Malays when it comes to; from buying a house,getting a loan to getting scholarships for further studies.
But bear in mind,the Malays have been kind enough to allow other races to dwell in this country, which was originally theirs.Thus, we should all be thankful.
I dont see concrete reasons for the Chinese or the Indians to complain.They have enjoyed wealth and the Chinese socio-economic status is far higher than any other races.
The economy, in addition is not controlled by the Malays but the Chinese and the Indians.Just look at the top 10 richest man in Malaysia.Well,having said so why there are quarters of the aforementioned races demanding more and more.We should help each other and not demand more than what is deemed enough.It is about tolerance.
It is about 'give and take'.They give us things,we give them things that they cant afford to achieve.There should be a balance.Irrefutably,some races might be good in certain fields,
but why can't we help each other.Let us think and act accordingly.
Think wisely.!!

Many thanks to the respective politicians for enlightening the public of what sodomy,sex vcds,and 'to strip naked' mean.Even primary schoolchildren are learning them very fast and making jokes among themselves.I guess we need no more sex education, as has been suggested to be taught in schools, as we have had enough of them!! :)

First of all,this blog being my first official one, i would like to remind you readers there, that my blog here would contain some remarks,critics and even insults if needed towards certain parties.Readers discretion is strongly advised (hell dont expect me to put a rating on each and every post,be it PG-13 or whatever)
Issues addressed in my blog would be related to the realm of medicine(the harrowing experience of being a medical student), of politics, of races and of religious issues.Personal matters would be chipped in occasionally,so that you guys would be able to yawn while reading them(pity me since this is the only avenue for me to express my feelings..and medic students would benefit from reading my blog since this would be the only way they are able to fall asleep and get some rest)
Still in Malaysia at the moment,on summer holidays, i have been inundated with the news of the political turmoil that our country is facing right now.Every now and then, confusion sets in.New allegations surface,malicious remarks are made,politicians are threatened and the whole domain of politics has gone topsy-turvy.Let me remind you my readers, i am neither supporting any parties nor am i against any of them.My views are purely independent from any influence whatsoever.I am expressing them out of what i feel is appropriate.My views might never be accepted by some of you, and i am more than willing to accept any comments and is happy if some of you wuld be able to correct my mistakes.
I guess, enough for me to write till this much for my first post,just as an introductory in nature i guess.So, for you readers out there, prepare for some shocking remarks and comments in the subsequent posts.Till my next post.Sayonara
